The DFC’s goal is to support the Broome Opioid Abuse Council in these efforts by addressing the factors in a community that increase the risk of substance abuse and promoting the protective factors that minimize the risk of substance abuse.

Together we can combine financial and human resources to stimulate “carrying the AA message” beyond one group’s resources. The primary purpose of Intergroup is to make the Alcoholics Anonymous program of recovery available and accessible to all individuals; and to promote unity and mutual support among all member groups.
