Schoharie County provides services to individuals with mental health concerns, substance use Concerns, and/or developmental disabilities, through both county-operated/staffed clinics/ providers and contracts with other local service providers. These services include but are not limited to: outpatient mental health and chemical dependency clinics, health home care management services, advocacy services, children and family services (Coordinated Children’s Services Initiative), and management of contracts funded by New York State Aid.

Schoharie County New York Addiction Rehabilitation Support Services. Over the years, RSS evolved to provide rehabilitation and recovery-oriented services aimed at addressing the needs of persons with co-conditions of both mental illness and substance abuse. Under contract with the NYS Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS), we provide a men’s residential facility and have plans underway for two additional OASAS residences.
