Tioga County New York Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition. Tioga County Allies in Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition was re-established in September of 2016 when community leaders stepped forward and wanted to find a local solution to the opioid and overdose epidemic. Spearheaded by our county Chairwoman Marte Sauerbrey, a steering committee was created and a new coalition was formed in Tioga County. With guidance from the prevention services agency, CASA-Trinity Inc., the coalition began to develop a strategic action plan and was awarded the Drug Free Communities Grant in 2018. This grant will allow the coalition to continue to work on the mission and vision created for Tioga County ASAP Coalition.

CASA-Trinity Tioga County NY Councils on Alcohol and Substance Abuse. We are one of the few remaining Councils on Alcohol and Substance Abuse left in New York State. Although the original intent of Councils was a focus on alcohol and substance abuse services, our offerings have evolved over the past 15 years to encompass a full circle of care when it comes to our clients. We don’t just treat substance use disorders, we treat mental health, co-occurring disorders and provide outreach and social health connections to housing and food, referrals to other services providers and so much more.

Tioga County New York Addiction Rehabilitation Support Services. Over the years, RSS evolved to provide rehabilitation and recovery-oriented services aimed at addressing the needs of persons with co-conditions of both mental illness and substance abuse. Under contract with the NYS Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS), we provide a men’s residential facility and have plans underway for two additional OASAS residences.
