Dutchess County New York Alcoholics Anonymous District 11. We are a service committee made up of local A.A. members in District 11 (Dutchess County). Our district is a part of the Northeast New York Area (Area 48). Our individual A.A. groups send group representatives (GSR’s) to our monthly business meeting, where we discuss pertinent issues in the district, put together special events, organize outreach in our community, and more. Our A.A. program has a service structure that supports and ensures its longevity, the same way that group level service and helping our fellows enhances our personal sobriety. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
