Wyoming County New York Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Resources. The Wyoming County Mental Health Department with its duly appointed Community Services Board is a planning and policy making entity that monitors and oversees all services in the county in the disability areas of mental health, alcoholism and substance abuse, and intellectual and developmental disabilities. Deficit funding is received from the New York State Offices of Mental Health, Alcoholism and Substance Abuse and/or Developmental Disabilities.

The Genesee-Wyoming Intergroup of Alcoholics Anonymous is a committee formed by AA groups in this area, coming together in the spirit of fellowship to create a partnership among AA groups in the community. It exists to aid the groups in their common purpose of carrying the message of recovery to the alcoholic who still suffers and is directly responsible to the AA groups that they represent. The message is carried by distributing AA literature, sponsoring AA oriented social events, maintaining a hotline phone number, coordinating meetings with corrections and local treatment facilities, publishing meeting lists and maintaining a website.
